Instructions for authors

The Organising Committee encourages all the Conference attendees to submit abstracts before April 15, 2021. The submitted abstracts will be revised by the Scientific Committee. All accepted abstracts will be published in a digital Book of Abstracts, posted on the Conference website and available for download.

The Scientific Committee reserves the right to determine whether a submission is accepted as an oral or poster presentation.

The presentations should be aimed at the research of maize, small grains and soybean.

Within abstract or poster submission please select one of the following topics:

I Genetic resources and prebreeding
II Genetics and breeding
III Abiotic and biotic stress
IV Crop production
V Food, feed and nutrition
VI Seed science

Abstracts should be prepared according to the following instructions:

Title: Font Times New Roman, bold, size 12, uppercase, centered.
Author(s): Font Times New Roman, size 12, centered. Please mark corresponding autor with an asterix. Name(s) and surname(s) of author(s) set below the title, with one line space between.
Affiliations: Font Times New Roman, size 10, centered.
Text of abstract: The length of the abstract should not exceed 300 words. Font Times New Roman, size 12, justified alignment, single spacing.
Keyword: please write them below the text of abstract, with one line space between (max. 5 keywords). Italic, font Times New Roman, size 12.

Oral Presentations should be prepared according to the following instructions:

Prepare your research presentation in MS Power Point.
Total of 15 minutes will be allocated to each presenter.

Poster Presentation should be prepared according to the following instructions:

Presenters should upload their posters before June 1, 2021.
All poster presenters should provide one-slide landscape poster in Power Point. The poster size should be 40.97 inches by 23.04 inches (104.06cm x 58.52cm), 16:9 aspect ratio. Minimum font is 28pt.

The Posters will be displayed during the whole online conference, one month after the event and also may be removed upon request.
We expect poster attendees to treat e-posters exactly as they would in-person posters and not to cite them without permission of the presenter.
